Pap smear is the screening test for cervical cancer. your first result is suggestive of acute infllammation. but the problem is that the acute inflammatory cells, e.g. polymrphs are so plenty that they obstruct the view of squamous cells. so you should repeat the test afeter clearing of infection. After treatment of infection also you have same result. it means your infection is not treated yet. now you have two option. either go for repeat treatment. or go for cervical biopsy. biopsy is more accurate in dignosis of cervical cancer.
