General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Sudden weight loss or change in climate or hypothyroidism or Polycystic ovarian syndrome or endometriosis can cause such problems. So it should be ruled out. Thyroid profile should be done, a consultation by gynecologist should be carried out and ultrasound examination should be done also. Taking progesterone and stopping will be helpful to induce periods. This can be taken by the advise of your gynecologist.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
