How To Increase Iron Level In Blood?

Hi I am a university student and was recently told by my doctor that my iron levels were below the range it should be. I have so much work to do but just cant stay awake. I regularly take the medication I was prescribed and also try to eat iron rich foods but none of that helps. What can i do?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You should go for ultrasound abdomen once. Many times causes of low iron is chronic blood loss. So investigate for the cause. Take iron rich food like jeggary, dates, green leafy vegetables, dry fruits etc. You can take oral or injectable iron therapy. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
