Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
There is no easy way to increase your daughters height particularly as she is nearing skeletal maturity. Girls generally grow most rapidly 6 months before there periods start and continue growing in the limbs for around two years after their periods. The spine continues to grow into the late teens and may contribute a little to overall height. There is no easy solution to short stature. Limb lengthening would be the only way to increase her height although this would be only a moderate amount in the order of 10-15cm. There are many complications to this procedure and it is seldom performed for short stature alone.
