How To Heal Stomach Virus With Diarrhea,vomiting,severe Dehydration While Having Type 1 Diabetes?

I came down with a stomach virus early Tuesday morning and started vomiting and having diarrhea. This lasted about 8-10 hours. I did not eat and had very little to drink until this morning. I have not vomited but still am experiencing diarrhea immediately after eating and drinking. My biggest concern is that whenever I try to stand or even sit up more than being propped up by a pillow, I get dizzy. I cannot take more than a step or two and I have to lay down, it takes a minute but I feel better when I am horizontal. I realize that I am dehydrated and am trying to sip Pedialyte but is there anything more I can do? I also want to know if this is normal when dehydrated or if there is more I should be concerned about. I am a 45 yr female with type 1 diabetes. My BS has been a bit high but under 200 and I have not had a low BS. Thank you.
