How To Get Rid Off Rash On Chest?

I developed a rash on my chest. It is red and slightly raised bumps. Only one spot itches, so I put some anti-itching cream on it. I noticed a few minutes ago that more bumps have arisen on my left arm, but they are not close together like on my chest. I have a few on my shoulder and others scattered down my arm.

Hi there.
Did this rash appear to arise about 2-3 weeks following a cold or an upper respiratory infection?
Was there a slightly larger 'herald' or 'mother' patch to begin with & then multiple smaller ones arose?
Are you allergic to anything in particular?
From your clinical history & description, it appears to be a condition called Pityriasis Rosea. It could very well be a hypersensitivity or allergic reaction.
However, as the itch is mild, it goes more in favour of the former.
A topical antihistamine lotion or a mild steroid lotion like Desonide may just help keep it under control together with an oral antihistamine like XYZAL (levocetrizine) 5mg taken once at night.
The rash may resolve by itself in 6 weeks time as per the natural progression.
Please use this HCM site to visit a dermatologist nearest you for confirmation.
Good luck & Godspeed.
