How To Get Rid Off Eczema?

My mother is having Exzima since birth....it is on foot only. Every 2-3 month it grows and Dr suggested fungal cream surfaz, but has no effect it is growing immediately after stooping application of it. some time back Dr also suggested steriod based ointment - with which it got cured immediately but got repeated after 2-3 months. Is there any oral/external medicine that ensure permenant cure of same..

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Permanent cure for Eczema cannot be predicted, as it is also an allergic disease where remissions & relapses are there. In my opinion local steroid ointment along with orally antiallergic medicines should be tried for a response particularly during relapse phase.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
