Dear
welcome to healthcaremagic
There is no description of medicine for tobacco addiction. It is the change of attitude and behaviours. In ayurveda also there is no separate descriptions but some masalas may help you stop the chewing habit. Some of the practioner use the anti allergy therapy for addicted people but the best one is councelling and change in attitude towards this behavior. Tobacco is injurious to health always keep in mind
Take care

Hello,
Homeopathy does have medicines which can not only help you get rid of your habit, but also help you in tackling the difficult period of nicotine withdrawal!!!
But it is important for you to visit an experienced homeopath for the same as it is not advisable to prescribe remedies online.
With your strong will power and determination, along with help from homeopathy, you can surely come out of this harmful habit.

Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Rajesh Lakhanpaul's  Response
Hi,
A strong will power is the base line to quit any typeof addiction. Medicines do the supportive function, to resist the desire is the best option. There are some herbs which will assist in causing aversion to taking such things. Easiest way is to chew some fennel when the urge comes.

I am a 6 foot, 165 pound, 26 year old male. I have been a smoker for 8 years. 8 days ago I started using the nicotine patch and since then I have had trouble sustaining an erection. I stopped using the nicotine patch yesterday and decided to quit cold turkey but I am still having trouble sustaining a erection during sex. I never had trouble with this when I was a smoker.

I am on the last step of nicotine patches to quite smoking, and the last 5 days I have been experience a dull-moderate ache in my back (kidney area). I have increased my water intake the past 3 days thinking I was maybe dehydrated, but the ache has only gotten worse. Could this pain be due to the nicotine patches?

Hello! I have been vaping for about 4 months. I have Fibromyalgia, severe neck and back pain, I get spasms, have trouble sleeping, excessive tiredness and difficulty with concentration. I take zanaflex, cymbalta, carbatrol and lyvoxerine(thyroid med). I have been wondering if you would know about the good effects of nicotine? I do feel some of my meds may be able to be lessened since vaping. I will be talking to my docs about this when I see them but was also curious if this has been a common question lately?
