How To Get Rid Of Sun Burn Patches On My Face?

Hi. I have dark spots on my face, due to sun damage / sun exposure after a facial. At my dermatologists recommendation i used expigment / locoid / tretin / bepanthen mixture for 10 days then with a brek, another 1 week. I dont see any change. I want to be out inthe sun. Would it be ok? Maybe the sun spots go by themselves? Thanks much! Deniz

Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
Dark spots you are referring to is called post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Consider applying a cream containing hydroquinone, kojic acid (DEPIWHITE) at bedtime for few weeks and use a broad spectrum sunscreen before going out in sun.
Vitamin C serum in morning will help additionally.
Also, enquire about procedures like chemical peeling, microdermabrasion etc from your dermatologist for better results.
Hope this will take care of your issue.
Wish you best of health.
Thank you
