How To Get Rid Of Stomach Flu?

stomach flu?
Two nights ago, I started running a fever of 100.3. It was quickly followed by cold chills and a feeling of nausea and then vomiting. I slept a good bit that night and continued on through the day with the same fever and nausea. Throughout this whole ordeal I've yet to feel hungry. In the past 48 hours, I've eaten a sandwich and drank nothing but gatoraid. Today, I've woken up with a 97.0 temperature that has stayed the same the whole day. I still feel slightly sick to my stomach and now my body is sore, my neck is hurting on the left side, my chest is killing me when I cough which is often now because all of a sudden, my breathing is very shallow.

Thank you for asking!
I believe it is gastroenteritis and it needs a visit to ER for rehydration and symptomatic treatment. DIet modification and prophylaxis with antibiotics is advised. Electrolytes monitoring would be wise.Shallow breathing might be simple anxiety. Get a complete evaluation at ER and let them sort it out for you.
take care
