How To Get Rid Of Sore Pea Sized Recurring Pimple Like Thing In Armpit?

Hey, I have a pea sized recurring pimple like thing in my armpit. I popped it once a month or so ago and the puss was thick. It stayed sore after that and filled back up a little. I popped it again today. It is still sore. How can I get rid of it more permanently? Should I be worried?

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
From your history and description, the possibilities could be furuncle( boil) and sebaceous cyst. Boil is painful and cause considerable discomfort. Sebaceous cyst is painless, has foul smelling thick discharge when squeezed and can become painful if it gets secondarily infected.
If it is a boil, you will need a course of oral antibiotics. If it is a cyst, it has yo be excised surgically.
Please consult a dermatologist to further confirm the same.
Take care.
