How To Get Rid Of Severe Migraine Problem?

Hi, about 12 years ago I was told by a doctor that he thought I may have bells palsy. Since then I have never had another doctor diagnose or treat me for it. I suffer from very severe migranes on the right side that has made my right eye drop and right side of my face go numb. These migraines are so bad they completely cripple me and I am unable to function at all. I lose my sense of taste, noises just make the pain worse and these migraines come very frequently. What should I do? Is it too late for any help?

Hi.

I understand your concern.

Migraine has young onset as you mentioned / unilateral / associated with nausea and vomiting or aura like symptoms.

Treatment can be done in two ways.

Acute treatment and prophylaxis. Acute migraine attack can be treated with medicine like combination of paracetamol and diclofenac / sumatriptan / almotriptan etc.

Prevention of further migraine attack can be done with prophylactic medicines. Prophylactic medicines like flunarizine / amitriptiline / topiramate / propranalol etc can help.

Consult neurologist and get help.

I hope I have answered your question.

Thank you.
