If yes, it possibly is a hair root infection, red painful pimple filled with pus and with the hair in the center. Generally it is healed with an antibiotic gel (try erithromycin gel) and warm compresses on it. In rare cases it can t be resolved by this home measures and needs and incision to drain it out.
