Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for posting om HCM.
Warts are a kind of viral infection due to Human papiloma virus. Plantar warts are resistant to treatment.
Consult a good dermatologist who would advise the management plan.
I usually give a one month trial of local application of salicyclic acid and lactic acid solution ( DUOFILM) .
If no response i go for electrocautery ir surgical removal.
Change your old footwear to prevent reinfection.
Hope this will take care of your query
