How To Get Rid Of Obsessive–compulsive Disorder?

I am a 29 years unmarried girl, my height is 5.275 inch and wight is 45 Kgs.I think i am suffering oCD I m not sure but from last few months onwards i am washing my hand frequently.I dont want to do but untill unless i wash my hand i am getting satishfaction.How to get rid of this problem.Please suggest. And also now a days i am taking head bath 3-4 times a day.Earlier i was not haing this problem

I admire your positive outlook and congratulate you for the attitude.

You have OCD and there is no doubt about it. It could be due to some stress in your personal life. In that case, you need some help.

However let me give my opinion here.

I think a combination therapy of antidepressant like fluoxetine, fluvxamine or clomipramine and low benzodiazepine would help you. These drugs would help you to control these symptoms and beside these drugs, you can try some relaxation exercise like JPMR or deep breathing exercise. That would keep you calm and relax.

For this you need expert's guidance by psychiatrist or psychologist .
