thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com.... well first of all, we doctors are there to heal your diseases and problem and we deal with the human body....so there is nothing embarassing to go to a doctor....in general, diseases seem to be chronic and takes time to heal in many cases just because the patient was ashamed or embarrassed to consult a doctor...so dont think this way....you should go to a GENERAL SURGEON, get the lump checked and he/she would be able to cure it.... anyways from your description, it looks like a benign lump, may be a cyst also....kindly tell me its measurements i.e. size shape and consistency....also whether it has any punctum from where the discharge takes place on squeezing.... come back to me with the answers and i will be able to tell you further... hope this was helpful... regards
