General & Family Physician Dr. Tulasi Raman.P's  Response
Hi Sheena,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic forum.

Yes, laser is a permanent method to remove hair.

Facial hair in women may suggest an underlying systemic illness.
If you have been put on weight recently, having irregular periods etc.
It may be a case of PCOD or other hormonal problem.

It would advisable to consult a Doctor / Gynaecologist.

Hope this answers you query.
