It's very good to hear that you are trying to help your husband to get rid of alcohol use. You need to visit a psychiatrist. There are various medications which helps in reducing craving. And definitely he needs to go through psychotherapy sessions wherein he will learn some anti craving and relapse prevention techniques.So go and visit a psychiatrist at the earliest.
