How To Get Rid Of Constipation, Gas And Bloating?

Hi... I am suffering from constipation, gas, and bloating. I have been drinking plenty of water, prune juice and dried prunes i ve taken milk of magnesia and gas-x and it didn t help. I had a little lactulose (about 4 tablespoons) from the last time I experience this problem and it only was enough to help expel some gas. I have Barrett s esophagus so I cannot eat or drink acidic foods even if they have nutritional value. I am using a heating pad on my abdominal and it seems to be helping with stirring up the gas cause I can hear my stomach rumbling but that s all. What do you suggest for my situation? Thanks!

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

First investigate with USG abdomen to rule out any organic cause if present...
If it is normal then your constipation could be functional ....For that follow below advise......

Along with laxative you have to drink more fruit juices ...

Regular exercise done ...drink more water.

Fiber food taken more like ....
/apple / carrot / while grain / wheat bran etc.
Gas forming food restricted like ...
/onion / turnip / cauliflower / cabbage etc. .

Avoid excess fatty food intake ...
Avoid gas forming bloating causing factors...like.....
/stress / eating too fast / excess fatty meal /smoking etc....

If no benefit consult gastroenterologist for examination...
