How To Get Rid Of Back Pain?

Hi. Age 46, 5'6", 150 lbs. History fibromyalgia, helped with Vitamin D. Back pain helped with nothing, only occurs when standing/walking. Bending over helps relieve it. MRI done 4 drs ago. Drs say beginning of compressed disc but shouldn't be causing pain. Pain has gotten worse since those four years. Have had nerves 'burned' in back, steroid injections, epidurals, nothing helps. what do i do? I can't walk bent in half everywhere and can't even go on a vacation because of it

Hi Welcome to HCM.

I understand your concern. You seem to have refractory fibromyalgia which is causing you the symptoms. These symptoms usually do not resolve with standard analgesics and antinflammatory drugs.Drugs like Gabapentin and serotonin reuptake inhibitors will help to improve the symptoms.Transdermal or epidural opioid analgesia will help to control the pain.I advise you to consult a pain management.Specific surgical procedures intercostal nerve blocks will help to control pain in your case.Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
