Hello doctor I have had the depo shot on October of last yr 2013 was supposed to get the shot again in January 2014 but I didn't and I want to get pregnant but haven't gotten my period back yet, just a little blood shows but not lasting. Could I be pregnant or what do I need to do to get pregnant. Thank you.
It is possible that you are pregnant, so it is probably not a bad idea to check a home pregnancy test. However, it is more likely that it is just taking time for the depo to wear off. It is only guaranteed to work for three months,m but in some women it can take a few months longer than that for your periods to start again. So for now, I would just wait until your periods return. Once that happens, you can try to get pregnant by having sex regulary (like every other day) from day 10 until day 18 of your cycle. I hope this was helpful, please let me know if you have any more questions.
