Hallow Mister,
Please do not be worried about the dripping of semen out of vagina after the intercourse. The total volume of semen ejected during intercourse is around 5 ml. Some amount of it does trickle out of vagina, however, it is very little. If you notice the amount of dripping semen, you will realize that it is hardly half an ml or so. It is absolutely normal.
In fact, during ejaculation, the first part of ejaculate comes in forceful spurts which directly entre into the
uterus. The later part is deposited in the vagina and stays there as a pool. Very little of it leaks out of vagina when the penis is withdrawn. If you withdraw the penis while it is still hard and large, it will pull more semen out by suction action. So withdraw the penis when it is completely placid.
The sperms from the vaginal pool also are very active and they start swimming in to the uterus and through the tubes towards the egg. So you do not have to be concerned about the little amount of semen flowing out. It will not affect any way the chances of your wife becoming pregnant.
You can plan the
pregnancy in more scientific way. Try to find out exactly on which day the egg is released and then plan your intercourse on that day. The ovulation can be monitored by:
1.
Basal body temperature chart. Just before the egg formation, the temperature falls by half degree and then it rises by one degree.
2. Vaginal mucous secretion becomes quite copious when the egg is getting released. You can pull a thread of it for more than 9".
3. You can visually monitor the egg release by
ultrasonography. The follicle becomes around 18 mm in size before the egg is released. You have to start monitoring it from day 9 onwards.
Usually the egg is released 14 days prior to the next expected menses. The life of egg is 24 hours and the sperms are active for 72 hours. Hence a week around the day of egg formation is fertile period.
I hope this much information is sufficient at this stage. If she does not become pregnant within 3 months, then you may ask me direct question by going to my profile so that we can work up on your case and I can guide you further.
