cervical vaccine is been recommended for protections against the HPV viruses. which is one of the causes of cervical cancer. The HPV virus infection of high risk strains occurs in the women who are sexually active mostly in the early reproductive group.
Most of these infections get cleared on their own with out any medication.
1.There are No studies or medical literature to prove whether these vacccines are effective in prevention of of cervical cancers .
2.cervical cancer can be cause by other factors
3 to protect your self from cervical cancer, Get an rhreeegular examinattion by expert gynaecologist. Do pap smear annually. for three years. If your reports are normal .go for annual screening Pap examination

Vaccination is a process in which deactivated virus particles are injected into the body. Then the body will start producing antibodies against the virus. So when a real virus of the same type enters the body the antibodies produced will deactivate the virus and infection will be prevented.

carcinoma cervix is commonly caused by HPV virus which is sexually transmitted. If you have commenced having sex there is possibility that you would have been already infected with the virus. so vaccination may not help in that case as it should have been given before the infection. So routinely HPV vaccination is recommended at school going age.

Still you can protect against carcinoma cervix by subjecting you to PAP smear because it may take up to 20 years from infection to development of disease. If you routinely do pap smear, abnormalities in cervix can be detected at an very very early stage and if managed appropriately you will be protected against full blown disease.
