How To Diagnose Diabetes While Treating Insulinoma?

I think I have an insulinoma. Is it possible that I could be diabetic aswell? I m always thirsty and urinate frequently because I m always sipping on water. I have to eat every hour to keep my blood sugar up, though I have not monitored my blood sugar before. And I ve gained tons of weight in the last 6 months. I ve been dealing with this for 3 years but recently it has gotten worse. I can hardly work without feeling like I m going to collapse, constantly feeding myself. I seem to only get blood sugar lows, not highs. But I guess I have no way to be sure because I don t have a tester

Hi

Insulinoma itself can cause the above symptoms. Weight gain occurs more commonly in insulinoma patients.Weight loss is common in diabetic patients.Hence you need to be treated for insulinoma and after which the blood sugar levels can be tested and further managed.

Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.
