If it's so, an antibiotic, antihistaminic and antipyrectic will be first line of treatment.
If you think, this happens regularly, you need to consider about immune-stimulation. The best choice is herbal/alternative therapy. Vit. C in high doses will also help a lot.

He also has a red bumpy rash all over his face and head which seems to get worse after he eats. We had him on nutrimigen for three weeks which did not work and now we have him on similac alemintum which he has been on for about two weeks. He still has not improved at all. Do you think he could be lactose intolerant?

My little chihuahua has had bad diarrhea since yesterday...she was up all night and had 1 firm white stool all the other spots were brown very runny stool. The only change I have made this week is adding burts bees ointment to a rash on her belly she had been scratching and bitting at. I googled using the burts bees prior to putting it on her and it said it was safe for dogs. Last year she had the same rash and I used bag balm ointment ..they were out thats why i switched.
