How To Detect HIV?

I used to be a little crazy in college...one night stands (10 years ago). I am now married and have been with my husband for 6 years. Is it possible I could have HIV for 10 years now and show no symptoms? I have had sinus infections due to allergies and thats it. We are both getting a test Tuesday for our life insurance. I have never thought about something like this and now I am really scared. I was checked for Chlamydia and Gohnerria (spelling) last year and that was negative but thats all I have been checked for. So scared!

Hi, dont worry, just be relaxed. You have very negligible chance of hiv. because its very unusual that hiv doesnot produce any symptoms for 10 years. If you are infected thdb within 2 to 3 years symptoms are there. However theoretically it is possible that person remain asymptomatic. but chances are very less. Dont worry just wait for your result.
