I am so sorry that you have to wait until you have a definitive answer. I know that it is very difficult. however, until you know the genetics, it is impossible to know what the prognosis is. that is why your doctor is waiting before he/she counsels you regarding what the situation is. if the emetics are normal, than it could be just an isolated heart problem, and sometimes these can be easily treated. however, if the genetics are abnormal, if could have profound effects on the baby. so for now. you will unfortunately have to wait for the results of the amnio. I hope you hear good news. I hope this answer was helpful, please feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
