How To Cure Swelling And Redness Around The Testicle?
Hey my boyfriend's testicles are uncomfortably swollen and red he just noticed this about 45 mins ago were not like that earlier today. He is on pretnisone (its a steriod i think thats how to spell it) and has been for the past 3 weeks for R.A. is this whats all of a sudden causin this issue?? Sudden redness and swelling of the testis are more suggestive of torsion and needs urgent investigations like ultrasonography and color doppler study. If this turns out to be a torsion , he may need an urgent/ emergency surgery to do de-rotation to ave the testis/ testes.
Prednisolone may not have anything to do with this.
