Hello, My husband had a radio fell on his middle toe yesterday...ouch! This morning, the toe turned blue black, swell and blood clot badly, is painful to walk. I m worried that it may lead to broken bone, should we get it checked at all? Husband thinks it ll heal up in a week, refuse to see a doctor! What should I do?!

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would advise that he should be clinically examined and investigated by an Orthopedic surgeon.
An X - Ray of the concerned foot, both AP and Lateral view will be helpful.

Cold compress in first 48 hours will help in reducing the pain and swelling.
He can take painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with serratipeptidase and Omeprazole 40mg once a day.

He should take proper rest and should not give load on the concerned foot while walking.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
