How To Cure Stomach Ache Along With Less Bowel Movement?

my 14 year old son has had a stomach ache for 2 days. He says it feels like a large bubble just below his belly button. He has had three small bowel movements but they were not good ones. He has no fever. I gave him some prunes (2), and some warm prune juice. and some apple juice. No good bowel movement since the juice which was almost 2 hours ago. What should I do?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Where is the exact pain in the stomach? Any vomiting or fever history? Any history of burning micturition? Any loose motions?

He may be suffering from acute colitis or appendicitis or urinary tract infection etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Don't give anything orally until the problem is confirmed. Get it done ultrasound abdomen and pelvis. Urine examination.

Please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
