Hello It seems from the history that your son is having intermittent squint. Squint is a common problem in childhood and it can be corrected with effective treatment hence no need to worry. The underlying cause needs to be find out by evaluation, the common causes are refractive error, accommodative erros.. The treatment for refractive errors and accommodative problems is by using glasses. However congenital squint may require surgery. The important thing is correction of squint if present in this age group is very important to prevent complications like ambylopia, hence I advice you to consult ophthalmologist or preferably pediatric ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
