Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Ive had a consistenly runny nose since i fell pregnant over 3 years ago. To the point where i am going through a box of tissues in 5 days. It now seems that i have formed a callus on the inside of my nose. It lightly bleeds every morning and the runnyness of the snort prevents it from healing! Should i got to my dr and get a referal to an ENT? I have tried steriod nasal spray which didnt do anything
You should get yourself physically examined by an ENT. Get all the blood test, X-ray PNS done to rule out sinusitis. Running nose can also be due to infection, allergic conditions, hypersensitivity to dust/pollution.
Doing steam inhalation can be very relieving. Take ht drinks & rest adequately, stay hydrated. You should keep your doctor informed about your pregnancy so that proper medications may be given to you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
