How To Cure Rashes Developed On The Skin Of Legs?

her legs has sores on them from a nerves habit of picking,got an infection, doctor gave her an antibiotic, her legs swelled up till they were weeping and a rash developed, starting by her ankles an worked it s up to her chin ,the rash is very hot to the touch, blotchy and very red, her legs swelled so much the began to peal. She went to the hospital and found out she was allergic to Sulfa in one of the antibiotics and took of it, the rash was going away and three days later (at home) the rash is back she is very tired and sleepy. I have a list of the meds. she is taking if you would like me to e-mail it to you.

Most likly diagnosis for your condition is Fixed Drug Eruption.
First of all you have to avoid any sulfa containing drugs as the rash will repeatedly appears over same site if sulfa drug is taken again.
It is very hard to treat hyperpigmented rash of Fixed drug erruption but you can try depigmenting agent like cream containing kojic acid. Also apply moisturizing lotion two to three times a day.
