How To Cure Presence Of High Levels Of Kelbsiella Spp In Stool?

I have had a stool analysis done after reoccurring bouts of food poisoning which make my digestive system go into lock down. The analysis showed high levels of kelbsiella spp present.
Naturopathic herbs were prescribed but they don't seem to be helping
What would you advise .?

Hello,

This indicates requirement of intensive treatment in form of either IV or oral antibiotics according to the clinical presentation and evaluation of the patient. In our clinic we recommend fluoroquinolone group of antibiotics, carbapenems/meropenems in case of beta lactamase inhibitor species with all supportive care as:
• Maintain hydration with parenteral fluid or orally
• Soft light diet
• Balanced nutrition involving all necessary ingredients
• Avoid smoking/alcohol/oily spicy non-vegetarian junk foods, etc.
• Maintain highest hygienic standards

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
