How to cure nose pain and sore throat while sleeping in an AC room?

Dear Drs, I am 27 female single, who is having pain on mucosa of both nostrils in the next morning after sleeping in an air-conditioned room at temp 25 C at night. So, I have to maintain air-con temp at 25 C and I also cannot stand direct air flow from air-con as I suffer sorethroat and wake up suddenly at night. May I know what problem I am suffering and how can I manage it? Thanks, Choo Choo.

Hello,

Air-conditioned room may cause decreased ciliary motility may lead to infection. Use water vapor inhalation thrice a day for five days. Use room humidifier to humidify room air. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg for five days. Avoid air conditioned rooms. If the symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
