There is left sided crowding of ribs and right sided hypertrophy and emphysema. This clearly suggest that patient is having non functioning left sided lung since long time. There are fibro calcified lesions also. This suggests possibility of old infection like tuberculosis or pneumonia. Healing from these diseases produce fibro calcified lesions. So to summarize, this chest x ray is suggestive of old, healed scar lesions with fibrotic left lung and hypertrophic right lung. Patient may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid.
