How To Cure Floaters In Eyes?

What is floaters in eyes ? Are they curable ? If so at what stage ? What are the common medicines used for treatment of floaters? Please suggest me a best eye specialist at AIIMS New Delhi to whom I may contact for treatnemtn of floaters in eyes. Thanks

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having flaoters in eyes. Floaters are because of vitreous opacities as a result of vitreous degenerations.
Floaters are benign problems and may not require treatment. However all patients with floaters require examination by ophthalmologist to look for associated retinal problems like retinal tear, retinal thinning...
If the problem is sever lysis of the vitreous opacities by the use of laser can be considered.
You need to consult department of Ophthalmology at AIIMS.
