How To Cure Deformed Nose After Having Septoplasty?

Hi, I have an issue regarding septoplasty which I had in August 2013. I have a deviated septum and struggle with breathing through my nose. My left nostril appears to be fine however my right nostril not so much and is completely blocked which has resulted in me breathing only through my mouth for as long as I can remember. I am now 17 years old and even after having surgery, have seen no improvement in my breathing but rather much more pain and discomfort in my nose. Not only that, the appearance of my nose has gotten worse and is now crooked and leaning towards my left which I am incredibly self conscious about. As the days go on, my nose gets more and more crooked. Before septoplasty, I worried a lot about my appearance particularly my nose and I was told beforehand that septoplasty will not change the appearance of my nose. I decided that would be okay although I was hoping my dorsal hump would be removed in the process as it was my only concern about the overall appearance. Looking back now, I regret feeling conscious about my nose and would do anything in order to get the old appearance back. The bone at the bottom of my nose sticks out of my left nostril which is noticeable whereas before, my nose was straight but with a slight dorsal hump. My dorsal hump is also now even more noticeable and every morning I experience pain (I have to pinch my nose really hard in order to numb the pain) within the bump and the tip of my nose which I didn t have before the surgery. I feel this surgery has done nothing to benefit me. My GP did confirm that I will have to undergo another operation in order to open up my right nostril as not a lot of cartilage was removed but after taking blood tests, they found that I am allergic to house dust mite and mixed pollens in grass which has left me sniffling and with a cold for my entire life and so will not need another surgery. I have been told that there are tablets I can take which can help reduce my sniffling but the appearance of my nose is what I am not happy with. People point out my nose and why it is crooked as it is not normal and family and friends especially have noticed a huge difference about my appearance. This is not something I should be worried about at 17 years old and it has taken a toll on my everyday life and I am even afraid of leaving my house as I feel people are staring at my nose. I have before and after photographs which show the change in my nose. After speaking to my GP a few months ago, I was told he would be in touch soon in order to arrange a rhinoplasty but said nothing was guaranteed and that if he was me, he would get a rhinoplasty privately. I don’t understand why I should pay for the surgery if it was as a result of septoplasty even after being told my appearance would not change. My GP has not yet been in touch and I doubt he will unless I make another appointment and complain. I just wanted to know what I should do in the current position and the possibilities I have in order to fix my nose because my nose is only getting worse becoming more and more crooked by the day and I fear eventually the tip of my nose will practically be touching my cheek. Thank you for your time

A long problem....if at all you have an allergy then also your appearance of nose is not going to change by any medicine.....u should consult a good and experience plastic Surgeon for your problem. Mostly u ll require septorhinoplasty. And believe me, results are very good in experienced surgeon's hand
