How To Cure Chronic Constipation In Kids?

my 20 month old has chronic constipation. she started on movicol one sachet a day. she has been taking it 4 days now and still no bm. she eats very wel and drinks plenty of fluids. before the movicol she was taking duphalac but nothing seems to work pls help.. when she needs to go she pushes so hard she spits up vomit, and wen she finally goes the stool is big, very hard and has traces of blood on it. the doctor gave her an enima the other day then prescribed movicol..

I really appreciate your concern, it is child of 20 months, if no stool being passed then it is nothing to worry, and it may not be constipation, enema needs to be avoided as long as it is possible again I would say that it is not the constipation better not to treat this and let the child grow little old hope this information helps.
