How To Cure Blisters Under The Arm And Lips Of The Vagina Due To Shaving?

I had a mammogram and papsmear done two weeks ago. I shaved my armpits and private part for the examination. Since then I developed blisters under my arm and on my virgina lips. I have tried things to ease and with it but nothing works. I am depressed. Can you tell me what to do??

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history, you are having folliculitis. My treatment advice is –

1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an NSAID (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil, and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
