How To Cure Arthritis While Being A Breast Cancer Patient?

Years ago I fractured my tib/fib in the left leg in a MVA. I am having a lot of pain and my ankle keeps giving out on me and as I said the pain took me to the Dr where they took xrays today. I need to have bilateral ankle replacements due to arthritis. The Dr was looking at the xrays and pointed out several areas in the bones around the ankle where there are cysts. He said they are not cancer. I had breast cancer so I always worry about that. How can he tell it is not cancer? should I ask for a further followup?

PET scan can tell you about the spread of cancer, so if you are worried get a PET scan done. I as pain physician i can suggest you about prolotherapy. I Usually use 10-12% dextrose or platelet rich plasma for prolotherapy. Both work by different mechanism but 2 sorts of injection 2-3 weeks apart can reduce your pain and give some stability to ankles. Along with ankle braces some mild analgesics like tramadol, paracetamol, tapendalol can give you significant relief from pain. Visit a pain physician for further clarity.
