How To Cope With A Fussy Kid?

Hi, My kid is 3 years 3 month old, and his wait is just 10 KG, he is not ready to eat any thing. For milk also we need to force him, beat him. we are really very afraid. We consult doctors also but no result. Kindly suggest me some medicine which increase his hunger. He is not drinking water also. and In two days once he will bath room. Rahul Gupta

Hi, thanks for asking.
In my opinion scolding or beating a child for not eating is not a good thing to do. It makes the child associate fear with food rather than hunger satisfaction. No food is indispensable for the child. If he refuses milk offer something else.
Offer food at the regular meal times to the child. If he does not eat, remove the plate. Offer again at the next meal time.
Offer him sips of water regularly. If he does not drink water offer other liquids like juice, lime water etc.
Giving iron supplementation will improve his appetite.
Passing urine once every two days is not normal. Please consult your treating doctor if this condition persisit as some blood and urine investigations may be required.
