How To Control The Drop In Blood Glucose In A Regular Tobacco User?

I have a diabetic patient who regularly chews tabacco, He chews a large wad after breakfast daily. Although he states he does not swallow the tabacco juice I'm sure it is unavoiable by the size of the wad in his mouth, several times after chewing this patients blood glucose has droped to 35 and lower, this patient will not give up chewing, any suggestions on how to controll the drop in blood glucose

Hi,
If you are attending the patient, it is always adviced you take him to patient councelling section repeatedly, so that he gets to know how bad is to use tobacco for normal humans, and it worsens the all body organs by 10 times for those who are diabetic. There are certain products (like medicated chewing gums, patches etc) which help to quit this habit. Contact your primary physician to discuss on it.
