How To Control Spasms In Patients With Respiratory Disorders?
Hi Doctor Dinesh. I am recovering from an URI... I have taken 3 of my 7 levoquin tablets (500 mg). I have also been taking lots of tynelol, musinex, generic sudafed. My main problem now seems to be hiccups or spasms that come sometimes 3 or 4 at a time. What can I do to help control these spasms? Thanks so much.
Understanding your concer. As per your query you have muscle spasms 3-4 times a day , well this is because of infection of upper respiratory tract. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take soothning agents such as throat losanzges. You should sip on luke warm water to avoid it. Take antispasmodics to relax sphinters and mucles. You should take green tea on daily basis in morning. Visit pulmonologist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting. Keep continuing with medications which you are already taking. Apply humidifiers in room.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
