How To Control Blood Glucose Level During Pregnancy?

i am 32 weeks pregnant and my blood glucose level is 170 this morning, i took my insulin @7 units as advised by my doctor after 2 hours i checked again and its 150, when i checked again beore dinner its 154, i dont know what to do, what will happen if my blood glucose level wont go down before my delivery?
