Hello, Im 38 years old, never been pregnant. This feb we started with our ivf cycle, unfortunately the fresh cycle failed. I had my fet last april 23, the beta hcg was at 164 on the 15th day post transfer the doctor did not order a repeat beta but instructed me to come back and have an utz after 1 week. I was not comfortable with not seeing a repeat beta so I did a hpt at 18 weeks post fet it showed a faint positive line then at 20 days post fet whoch now sh8wed negative and one the morning before the utz which also showed a negative, thats why I was so surprise that when they did the utz they were able to see the gestational sac and yolk sac, they even told me that we might be able to see the heartbeat after 1 week. Today at roughly 5 weeks and 6 days aog I again did a hpt and again it showed a negative. Im really confused about this. Unfortunately, I cant ask my doctor because he didnt advised me to do a hpt.
