How To Confirm Pregnancy?

Hi, my fiance and I were not planning to have a baby, I am currently on not on any pill, but lately have very, very sore breasts, around the nipples the pain is sensitive to the touch, even in the shower. I haven't taken a test yet, because I haven't missed my period yet, its not due for a while yet, probably about 2 weeks or so, could this be a sign I am pregnant?

Hello,
thanks for using health care magic

the first symptom of pregnancy is usually a missed period. It's only after this that pregnancy is being suspected.

Sore breast is one of the symptoms that characterize the premenstrual syndrome. Premenstrual syndrome is a combination of symptoms that some women will experience before having their menses. some in addition to sore breast have cramps, mood swing etc.

Pregnancy can not be tested now, until after the period you are supposed to see it.

So you have to wait until after the two weeks and then do a pregnancy test with early morning urine.

Best regards
Dr Achuo
