How To Confirm A Miscarriage?

hi, im 7 weeks pregnant based on LMP, i've read that the normal pulse for pregnant women is 85-90 at rest. Mine is only 70-80, is this a sign of miscarriage? also, i had very light spotting (brownish) for 1 day and also cramping. This is my 2nd pregnancy, the first time i m/s blighted ovum. im really worried.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Pulse rate of a pregnant woman is normally between 60-100 beats per minute, so your pulse rate is completely normal.
Light brown spotting with abdominal cramps in early pregnancy can be due to:
1. Threatened or missed abortion
2. Ectopic pregnancy
Bleeding around the foetus( subchorionic haemorrhage)
The condition can be diagnosed with ultrasound.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated with ultrasound and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
