Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I can understand your anxiety regarding the issue of STD's. Unprotected (since the condom broke) sex is a risk factor for STD's. No doubt she has a legal right to practice her profession and undergoes regular checks but that is no guarantee to that fact that your sexual encounter was risk free, specially since the condom broke down.

Moreover a condom does'nt provide protection against all STD's. Genital warts, Molluscum contagiosum and herpes can be transmitted even if the sexual encounter was a protected one.

I would suggest you to get appropriate testing for various STD's and be watchful for any bumps or ulcers that may crop up as a sign of STD's.

You should get tested for HIV with an HIV Combo test at 1 month. If negative it should be repeated at 90 days post sexual encounter to be completely sure that you are clear.

VDRL/RPR testing for syphilis and test for herpes (HSV ELISA) should also be performed at 2 weeks and then again at 1 month.

Besides, I would suggest you to report to a sexual disease specialist in case you notice any bumps, ulcers, lymph nodes etc down there.

Indulging in sexual acts with a high risk contact e.g a prostitute is never safe. It is always better to have just one trustworthy sexual partner.

Regards
