How To Check Whether The Child Had BCG Vaccination?

My 5year daughter has a scar on her left upper arm but I am not sure it is bcg scar I checked her immunisation chart but couldn t find any record .So I contacted the GP surgery but unfortunately they couldn t find any record. Is there any way to clarify the scar or chek if she had bcg vaccination? Is it OK for her to have bcg vaccination second time? I am really worried .we are from India, but living in UK. Soon going to India to visit our family members .Please kindly give me advice.Thanks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello ,welcome to HCM. In Recent years the baby is given in the upper left arm , only one type of vaccination which is healing by scar. So if one small scar measuring less than half a centimeter, then it is BCG vaccination. You are saying there is a scar. So it is BCG scar and you dont have to worry for taking that vaccine again.
